Berry cool porridge

For when hot porridge is too hot and you fancy something fruity, this oaty, yoghurty berry'y cool porridge is perfect. Travels well too.

Ingredients
  • 50g oats
  • 150g whole organic milk
  • large squeeze of clear honey
  • mug of frozen mixed berries
  • 120g of natural or Greek yoghurt
  • a few chopped walnuts and pecans to serve
Instructions
You need to start this the night before, so make the porridge the normal way by cooking the oats , milk and honey together until it's a nice creamy porridge, just takes a few minutes.

Meanwhile heat half the frozen berries in a pan and mash them down with a potato masher before stirring into the porridge to make it dusky pink. Now store the berry porridge overnight in the fridge.

In the morning blend the yoghurt and remaining berries and stir that into your cooled porridge.

Top with the nuts and a drizzle more honey.
