Christmassy overnight oats

Add a taste of the holiday season to your breakfast with warm spicy fruit and a squeeze of that orange you find in your Christmas stocking!

Ingredients
  • 170g Greek yoghurt – we use Tim's Dairy Greek style as they are the nicest people ever!
  • 3 dessert spoons of oats
  • 2 level dessert spoons of raisins, sultanas and currants
  • knob of butter
  • splash of creamy whole milk
  • good squeeze of mild clear honey
  • good big pinches of mixed spice and cinnamon
  • 2 large wedges of a juicy fresh orange
Instructions
Mix the oats into the yoghurt with a splash of creamy milk, a good squeeze of zesty orange and a large squeeze of honey.

When ready to serve (which you can do right away or leave overnight in the fridge) melt the butter in a small heavy frying pan then add the fruit, honey and spices, and heat through. You will immediately get a lovely Christmassy aroma all around the kitchen!

Fold the hot fruit into the oaty yoghurt mix, saving a little bit for the top.

Finish with a small drizzle of honey and even a swirl of cream and some toasted nuts.

Add a wedge of orange for optional squeezing. Beautiful.
