Pomegranate and hot berry porridge

Creamy delicious porridge with hot blackberries and blueberries and crunchy pomegranate
Serves: 2 • Prep time: 3 mins • Cook time: 8 mins • Easy
  • 40-50g of porridge oats
  • 250-300ml whole milk
  • teacup of frozen blackberries and blueberries
  • two teaspoons of pomegranate seeds
  • big squeeze of mild clear honey
  • optional swirl of cream to serve
Heat the oats and milk in a saucepan, stirring until cooked and thickened. Add a squeeze of honey.
Mean time heat the berries and some honey in a small pan with a splash of boiling water, cook down until the water disappears.

Serve the hot berries on top of the porridge with the pomegranate seeds and cream if using.
